The Mobile Shop (Loblaw)
Loblaws The Mobile Shop that allows customers to purchase mobile phones, plans and accessories.
As a developer, I maintained the existing website and added new features/components to promote sales. Features included Cart (since been removed), appointment booking, trade in estimator, plans page (new initiative), location finder and various other page and UI component redesigns. Most recently I was able to identify faulty components that were making multiple API calls to fetch locations and fix them, resulting in a significant amount of cost savings. I also managed the backend for the website using GCP and Terraform. API Endpoints were written with NestJS and Node. I also introduced Typescript, and Unit testing to the project. Previously Typescript and Unit testing was non existent. Coverage now sits at 95~%.
