Epic Games Store
As a member of the Merchandise Team (Consumer Experience), it was my role to assist the Marketing and Sales team with improving/maintaining the Storefront.
This involved creating UI components for new Marketing modules and displaying them on the store to assist in promoting various product offers. I was also responsible in creating the famous Cart page for Epic. This page allowed users to purchase multiple products at a time, promoting sales. I also developed the new UI for the Wishlist Page bringing new life to the forgotten feature. In addition, I developed new UI components on the home page to assist the Marketing/Sales team in their efforts to surface more product offers to users. This helped increase sales of products. I also refactored/improved existing browse/search page. This effort brought forth many improvements to the search behavior, allowing for more relevant search results to surface on the store. It also resolved many frustrations with the inconsistent/broken UI that existed before. As a Front End Developer I was also responsible in monitoring key production metrics during the many sale events throughout the year. This involved standing by to triage and at some times fix different production issues. I also integrated new APIs to the GraphQL service.
